Young Plus One now offers Targeted One-On-One Business Coaching.


Does your business have tons of potential yet constantly underperforms? Do you feel like profitability is always just out of reach? Do you need help to interpret your profit and loss?

Responding to our clients needs, Young Plus One now offers a unique profit focused business coaching service, to help with all this and more.

It’s business coaching with a very simple goal - to target and address issues that block profitability. 



Duration.

Young Plus One does not see Business Coaching as a service that continues indefinitely. Rather, our aim is to identify issues that are blocking to profitability, and to focus on their resolution. Once the business owner has been able to move forward with improved business profitability systems and practices, we see the Business Coaching task as complete.  



Goals.

Every Business Coaching client is encourage to establish profit goals, based on the balance sheet. In context of analysing the numbers, goals are set in collaboration with the client.


Targeting Issues.

Standing in the way of any goal being realised there is going to be a combination of issues, and targeting those issues is an ongoing task. Problems blocking profit, as they become apparent, are tabulated and ranked in importance, so they can be dealt with one at a time.


Method.

Young Plus One conduct Business Coaching as both one-on-one and all-in session. 



All In Sessions

Team Meetings, led by Geoff Young, are conducted with the clients leadership group, and serve as a tool for discovery, identifying and tabulating issues for exploration. These meeting are conducted both with and without the owner present, allowing full and unfettered dialogue.   



One-on-One Sessions

One on One Business Coaching then serves as the basis for talking out the various points raised, identifying issues and potential resolutions. 


The goal of any Business Coaching Session is to

• Financial Analysis (the numbers don’t lie)

• Review existing identified profit blocking problems

• Review newly identified profit blocking problems

• Rank profit blocking problems in order of hierarchy, importance, urgency

• Solution Development  



All Young Plus One business coaching is conducted on an 'as required' basis. We aim to do ourselves out of a job! Once the business starts to run optimally the Coaching Services will be phased out.


In addition to Financial Analysis and discovery, Young Plus One can also provide business owners with coaching on core profitability systems that support success.
